• Workshops

  The Career Center is available to provide 60 minute interactive presentations in your classes. Topics may include "Exploring Vocation: Finding Clues to Your Future," "Let Your Life Speak," and "Translate your Interests into Majors and Careers."   Show these ready to use film clips on vocation discernment in your class!
  

• Assessments

  Students learn about their strengths and personality and the relationship to their lives, including the connection to their majors and careers. Students receive their results online and are strongly encouraged to make an appointment with a career counselor for an interpretation. We can also do a group interpretation in your class. Students may request access to MyRoad by visiting our site.

  Additional assessments are available during individual career counseling appointments with students.

• Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education

  SCU is part of The Network for Vocation in Undergraduate Education (provided by the Council of Independent Colleges). NetVUE provides an extensive list of vocation discernment resources to integrate into the classroom.

  New Users

  • Send an email to NetVUE@cic.nche.edu and include your institution's name, your own name, your title, and your email address.
  • Allow 3-4 days for processing and verification, at which point you will receive your login information.
