Barbara Hoffman| Barbara Hoffman specializes in Italian Renaissance and Baroque art. At Santa Clara since 1993, Dr. Hoffman teaches lower division survey courses from ancient to modern art and upper division Renaissance and Baroque art courses. She received her B.A. in art history from UC Berkeley, MA in art history from University of Oregon, and a Ph.D. in art history from UCLA. Dr. Hoffman's special area of interest is 16th century art of Counter-Reformation Rome, particularly art commissioned by religious confraternities. | |
