Kelly Detweiler 

Kelly Detweiler received his M.F.A. from U.C. Davis, where he studied with such internationally acclaimed California artists as Wayne Thiebaud, Robert Arneson and Roy De Forest. Detweiler’s work has been exhibited in California, Japan and Paris. His most recent exhibit, "Selections from the Bau Wau Haus", was shown at the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art. His work is extremely varied in media from painting to assemblage, but he is best known for his brightly colored wooden sculptures that are assembled from wooden bowls and other objects. He served as the Chair of the Department of Art and Art History from 1993-2000.
