Francisco (Pancho) A. Jimenez

Pancho Jimenez received his M.F.A. in Ceramic Sculpture from San Francisco State University, and his BA degree from Santa Clara. His abstract clay sculpture suggests both ancient and modern motifs, and ranges from large architectural scale work to smaller more intimate constructions. He has exhibited nationally in both galleries and public spaces. His work as been featured in Ceramics Monthly and in two Lark Book publications "The Ceramic Design Book" and "Extruded Ceramics." In addition to teaching ceramics in the Department of Art & Art History, Jimenez is University Advisor in the Drahmann Advising and Leaning Resources Center and Faculty Director of the Unity Residential Learning Community.
