Biographical Information
Been working in the pharmaceutical arena since graduation. Worked in the lab for several years and slowly drifted toward managing the various lab data systems and LIMS. In 1995 I left the lab to be a LIMS Administrator for a small biotech in San Diego. I then moved to another biotech in Seattle where I managed a different LIMS package. Finally, at another biotech where I work in Quality Assurance dealing with “Part 11” , the electronic signature/electronic records regulation put in place by the FDA.
Managing data in today’s laboratories, especially in the Pharma industry, is challenging and an excellent way to leverage a B.Sc. chemistry degree in environments that may depend on a PhD to advance.
