Housing and Travel

Housing will be provided for students participating in Santa Clara University's chemistry REU program. The 2007 REU students lived at The Swig, a residence hall located right on campus, not too far from the research labs in the Daly Science and Alumni Science Buildings. Each participant lived with a roommate, also from the summer science program, in a large room. Each room has two separate phone lines, one for each occupant, and jacks for plugging your computer directly into the campus network. Refrigerators and microwaves were provided for each room.

REU students will have access to campus fitness and recreational facilities such as the Malley Fitness Center.

In addition to the $4400 stipend, limited funds will be available to help defray the cost of transportation to SCU for the summer program. For further details, please contact
