Combined Sciences

The Combined Sciences major is a uniquely flexible interdisciplinary major consisting of

• foundational courses in math, biology, chemistry and physics
• social science framework courses vital to applying scientific knowledge in the workplace
• a set of upper division electives selected based upon the interests and career goals of the student yet subject to the approval of the Combined Sciences Program Director.

It prepares students to be constructively engaged in society and productively employed in times of rapid technological change, particularly in the health professions. The major is very popular among students seeking a career in medicine, dentistry or any other area of the health sciences.
