Minor in CommunicationWe tailor the minor program to the interests and needs of the individual student. Please make an appointment to discuss your program with the Department Chair. Students will be required to take a total of six communication courses to complete the minor. The courses must include either COMM 1 - Intro to Interpersonal Communication or COMM 2 - Intro to Mass Communication. Students must also complete a minimum of 2 elective upper-division communication courses. The remaining 3 courses may be taken at either the lower-division or upper-division level. Students should carefully note prerequisites for any courses they want to take, and plan their initial courses accordingly (e.g. you must take COMM 31 - Video Production I before taking COMM 131 - Intermediate Video Field Production). |
