Charlotta Kratz
Lecturer in Communication
Academic/professional background: Professor Kratz received her undergraduate degree from the University of Göteborg, Sweden, with a major in communications and minors in literature, art history, English, and philosophy. She received her graduate degree from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Göteborg. Her field of study was/is media use and everyday life. She is now finishing her Ph.D. at the University of Göteborg, Sweden.
Teaching areas/responsibilities: Professor Kratz's current responsibilities include teaching Introduction to Mass Communication, Qualitative Methods, Intercultural Communication, and Minorities and the Media.
Research interests: Professor Kratz's research interests include cultural studies, specifically media and everyday life, and multicultural experiences.
