Student projects
Communication students engage in a variety of creative work, both artistic and academic. Every student completes a senior thesis.
Senior Thesis

Journalism projects
A number of journalism students, either for a capstone course or for class projects, have completed stories that local media outlets have published. See recent examples below:

Earlier in the quarter, Geoff Hutchinson, Pamela Velazquez and Makensy Smith discussed a story on KGO's 7 Live afternoon news program. They had developed the story idea and pitch with classmates Dania Reed, Xenia Pineda and Henry Kuo .
