Greg Corning

Associate Dean

 

Greg Corning has served as an associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences since 2005.  He is an associate professor in the Department of Political Science, director of the Asian Studies minor, and the secretary of the campus chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.  He earned his A.B. from Brown University and his Ph.D. from the University of Southern California, both in international relations.  A former Fulbright-Hays fellow at Tokyo University, Corning teaches international relations and comparative politics with an emphasis on East Asia.  His current research explores political economy and security issues in Northeast Asia.  He is the author of Japan and the Politics of Techno-Globalism (M.E. Sharpe 2004) and peer-reviewed articles in venues including Asian Survey, Pacific Affairs, and Social Science Japan Journal.
