Senior Lecturer

Sherryl Booth is a Senior Lecturer where she teaches a variety of courses in Composition and Literature and serves as faculty advisor for the English Club.  She is also Faculty Director for Cyphi Residential Learning Community, affiliated faculty in the Program for the Study of Women and Gender and the Environmental Studies Institute, and the Chair of the Canterbury Program.(http://www.scu.edu/cas/environmentalstudies/index.cfm). 

Dr. Sherryl Booth received her PhD from Texas Christian University in English, specializing in British literature and culture after 1800. She came to SCU in 1992 and teaches classes in composition, literature, and women's studies. Her research interests include 19th century Scottish rhetoric and literature by contemporary women novelists.
