Dr. Sharon MerrittLecturerSharon Merritt is a long-time member of the English Department, whose teaching focuses on Critical Thinking and Writing, Advanced Writing, Digital Storytelling, Narrative Theory, Multiliteracies, as well as Theories of Literacy and Social Justice. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Education (Language, Literacy and Culture) at the Graduate School of Education, U. C. Berkeley, and is currently working on projects related to language policy and metaphor in education, Cultural Historical Activity Theory, bilingual llteracy, genre studies, multimodal writing practices and narrative theory. |
