Biographical Information
Fr. Charles Phipps received his Ph.D. at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1965, when he began teaching at Santa Clara. He was Director of the University Honors Program from 1968 to 1980, Chair of the English Department from 1980 to 1992, and Director of the Drahmann Academic Advising Center from 1992 to 1995.
