Sunday April 19th from 10AM to 2PM will be the 6th annual Celebration of California Native Plants at Ulistac.
The celebration brings community members from across the South Bay for a day of play, learning, and celebration of Ulistac's volunteer restoration efforts. Local businesses, non-profit organizations, and neighborhood coalitions will be joining the celebration and talking about some of the exciting things they are doing to bring more community involvement to Santa Clara.
Last year's event drew over 250 people who participated in workshops, tours, games, and talks ranging from habitat restoration to terrace gardening. We're currently working to make the 2009 event even better, so we hope to see you on the 19th!
