This page tells you everything you need to know about volunteering at our restoration work days. | New to Ulistac Natural Area? Welcome, we're glad to meet you! New volunteers are constantly joining our restoration and education projects at Ulistac. Ulistac Natural Area is a community-driven venture, which means the project flourishes only because volunteers like you have logged many hours. |
Before you leave home Make sure you have your paperwork completed, and signed by an adult (if you're under 18 years old). Please print (double-sided) and complete these three forms for the City of Santa Clara and Ulistac Natural Area. Don't forget to bring these with you! |
Where to go: Meet at the bike rack/tool shed near the park's South Entrance on Lick Mill Blvd.
What to do: Stay the whole time, or just for a while - we appreciate any time you can offer.
Don't forget to sign-in/sign-out: We keep track of volunteer hours for a variety of reasons (to report back to our grant sponsors, to monitor our progress, and to document students' volunteer hours). More importantly, we want to reward our regular volunteers! Individuals who volunteer at three or more workdays receive a Ulistac t-shirt!
Note: Only heavy rain cancels a work day
