Joanna Johnson
Director, Bronco Urban Gardens Program
Joanna has a background in conservation-based agriculture and environmental education. She directs the Bronco Urban Gardens outreach program and the Forge Garden at Santa Clara University. She also teaches agroecology and soil, water, and air classes at SCU. |

Nicole Latham
Alma Verde Coordinator and AmeriCorps Mentor
Nicole is a returning AmeriCorps volunteer who will manage the Alma Verde afterschool program next year. She has also initiated other programs such as "Comida and Conservation." Nicole has a master's degree in Latin American Studies from Oxford University (2010) and a bachelor's degree in history with a minor in Latin American Studies from Scripps College (2009). She will help mentor the new AmeriCorps team of 4 full-time and 2 part-time staff in 2012. |
