ASTEP is an arts-based organization that strives to combat child poverty by bringing together artists and children who can benefit from artistic encounters in New York City, Homestead, FL, Africa, and India. Artists/Directors Mauricio and Cindy Salgado, through both video and live performance, shared their passion for creating postivie change for young people in need in guest lectures and mater classes throughout the week fo February 23-27, 2009.
