Artists’ Roundtable: Music and the Unhoused (Winter)
Guests Nancy Wait-Kromm (Chair, Music Department) and Matt Hammer (Executive Director, PACT) looked at the Beatitude Mass through the lens of justice and the arts and how composer Henry Mollicone addressed homelessness in his choral and orchestral work. The presentation included the many ways in which PACT functions to unite grassroots organizations to work on other issues, such as education and healthcare, as well as the responsibility of artists working in solidarity with marginalized communities.
