    "Winning Strategies for the PSP game Lumines," by the President of Harvey Mudd College, Maria Klawe, at San Jose State University on Thursday evening, January 22 at 7:30pm.  More information can be found at http://mathematicaladventures.org .
  • iconCareer Night Dinner

    Join fellow majors, minors, and other interested students, and faculty at the Adobe Lodge on Wednesday, January 28 to hear SCU Math and CS alumni speak about their careers after graduation.  Sign-ups on the Sussman Room door after January 14.  $10 for students.
  • iconFreshman Math Contest

    Thursday, February 19.  Place and time TBA.  Interested students should contact Prof. Walden.
  • iconMathematical Association of America Section Meeting

    Saturday, February 28 at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley.
  • iconCSCI 169 - Programming Languages

    Will be offered in Spring 09 with Father Smolarski in addition to CSCI/MATH 166 - Numerical Analysis.  
  • iconCSCI 182 - Digital Steganography (New)

    Offered in Winter 09 (in place of CSCI 162) with Professor Tran.  Recommended for those pursuing an emphasis in cryptography and security.
  • iconMATH 125 - Mathematical Finance (New)

    Offered in Spring 09 with Professor Ostrov (labeled MATH 196 when taught last Spring).  Required for those pursuing a concentration in Mathematical Finance within the Master of Science in Applied Mathematics.
