Mimi CarlsonWoodwind Faculty - FluteMimi Carlson is a graduate of the Interlochen National Music Camp in Michigan and Carleton College in Minnesota. Since 1972, she has played flute and piccolo with Bay Area music groups, including the Santa Cruz Symphony, Nova Vista Symphony, Master Sinfonia, Opera San Jose, Civic Light Opera, San Francisco Merola Opera Orchestra, Monterey Symphony, Women's Philharmonic, Los Gatos Chamber Orchestra and the New Sousa Band. She is a long standing member of the San Jose Symphony, the Midsummer Mozart Festival Orchestra, the RedWoodWinds Quintet, and the faculty at Santa Clara University. |
