• Designed to help students organize and synthesize what they have learned
• Taken after all coursework is completed or during the last quarter of enrollment

Process

• Print a copy of the Petition to Take Comprehensive Examinations (PDF) form and turn it into the office at least eight weeks prior to the exam date.
• The Pastoral Ministries office will confirm your petition and inform you of all students taking the exams for that quarter.
• Students are given six of the original questions, from which they must answer three.
• No notes, study aids, or personal computers may be used during the exam.
• Results will be mailed to you.
• Students who do not pass the exam may take it one more time (to be scheduled within the year on a regularly scheduled exam date).
