John David Pleins, Ph.D.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Pleins came to Santa Clara University in 1987. He received his A.B. in philosophy from the University of Michigan, Flint in 1980. He obtained his M.A. in near eastern studies in 1983 from the University of Michigan and then finished his Ph.D. in 1986. His area of interest for graduate courses is the Hebrew Bible. He has written
