Description
|
Formal inquiry into normative ethics. Emphasis on ethical principles and theories, as well as the application of these to issues essentially intertwined with concepts of sex and gender as they apply to both men and women. Special attention to gender theory and feminism. Topics studied may include pornography, sexuality, heterosexual/homo-sexual marriage and family life, domestic violence and rape, abortion and reproduction, fashion and appearance, gender discrimination, sex-based affirmative action, and sexual harassment.
