Erick Ramirez

Lecturer (Ph.D., University of California San Diego, 2012)

Erick Ramirez received his Ph.D. from the University of California at San Diego. His work addresses how research in psychology, cognitive science, and the neurosciences help settle longstanding questions about the nature of ethics especially in debates between realists, non-cognitivists, and subjectivists. He is especially interested in theories of emotion, psychopathic moral judgments, and issues related to moral responsibility. When not practicing philosophy in the classroom or the office he can normally be found hiking with his dog Woodrow Wilson, traveling, or searching for good recipes.   Curriculum Vitae
