Areas of research and teaching interest include ethics, philosophy of gender and sexual difference and 19th-20th century European continental philosophy, especially the work of Friedrich Nietzsche, Simone de Beauvoir and Luce Irigaray. She has a recent article in Philosophy Today on "Rereading Beauvoir on the Question of Feminist Subjectivity" and a forthcoming article entitled “Inter-dict and Alterity: Dialectic in Speculum of the Other Woman.” Courses she will teach this year include Ethical Issues in Business, Ethical Theory, and the Cultures & Ideas core curriculum sequence Knowing & Acting.
