He will discuss a major new report from the Public Health Department and the Health Trust on social determinants of health in Santa Clara County, which in many ways is a microcosm of California and the nation. If you are interested in how poverty influences disease rates, how neighborhoods determine life expectancy, or how factors such as ethnicity, gender, education, and profession affect health, come join us for Dr. Fenstersheib's talk!
Fri Nov 4 @ 3 pm, room TBA - Graduate Programs in Public Health
Are you interested in possibly studying public health at the graduate level? Come meet SCU alumni who are currently pursuing MPH degrees, or who have completed graduate degrees and are now public health professionals, to see what the grad school and career options are out there. We’ll also have faculty on hand from the UC Berkeley School of Public Health to talk about how admissions work, and to answer your questions.
