Curriculum Vitae: Greg Corning

Greg Corning teaches international relations and comparative politics with an emphasis on East Asia. His current research explores political economy and security issues in Northeast Asia. He is the author of Japan and the Politics of Techno-Globalism (M.E. Sharpe 2004) and articles in venues including Asian Survey, Pacific Affairs, and Social Science Japan Journal. A former Fulbright-Hays Fellow at Tokyo University, Corning serves as director of the Asian Studies minor and the secretary of the campus chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. During 2005-9, he has stepped away from the classroom to serve as an associate dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.
