Position Description

We are seeking summer interns for our offices across the US, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, New York, Palo Alto.Interns will collaborate with the research team on a variety of search-related work.Responsibilities will include:

·Coordinating and completing research on highly complex business development projects; e.g., Identifying the high growth companies within the social media sector, researching their potential for expansion, and identifying potential opportunities for EZI;

·Bringing creative solutions to search assignments and new business issues with minimal direction;

·Providing research and analysis support to research members and consultants, including participating in special projects, as requested.

Interns will work simultaneously on diverse projects that vary greatly in size and complexity.Some projects target a narrowly-defined business problem, while other projects address larger, long-term strategic needs for the firm, which may result in the creation of a presentation, report, or article for business development and brand-building activities in the US. Interns will be working with a team of other interns and researchers on a global level, therefore strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

In addition, each intern will complete a long-term, strategic project and develop in-depth knowledge of a particular industry while partnering with a team consisting of a research staff member and senior Partners of the firm.Interns will be trained on frequently used internal and external databases and resources.

Qualification Profile

Candidate must be a Junior or Senior from a leading undergraduate college with a solid academic record, leadership experience, and intellectual curiosity.Other essential traits include strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.Previous experience in a market research capacity and a familiarity with databases and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a plus. A minimum GPA of at least 3.3 is preferred. All majors welcome!
