South Bay Labor Council
Intern at the largest, most sophisticated campaign operation in the South Bay. The South Bay Labor Council is looking for motivated candidates to apply for internship opportunities. True to the spirit internship programs, the Campaign Internship program includes weekly training sessions that will cover core concepts of strategic campaigning grounded in real world application.
Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates are interested in progressive politics, are seeking first-hand experience with electoral and issues-based campaigns, and have at least fifteen (15) hours a week to dedicate to the campaign. Internship opportunities are available through the June 3 Primary Election, over the summer, and through the General Election in November. Schedules are flexible and considerations will be made for academic calendars.
About the Program
Interns will assist with the day-to-day activities of the campaign, including prepping for and staffing phone banks, precincts walks and campaign events. Interns will also be given research assignments and special projects as needed.
