Professor Lasher will be teaching in the Religious Studies Department and completing her latest book project, A Passion for Wholeness: Ignatian Humanism and Ecological Identity, due to be published by Herder & Herder/Crossroad Publishing in 2011. She wishes to place her interdisciplinary work in theology and environmental studies (research, publication, teaching) at the service of Santa Clara University, recognizing the distinctive role that Jesuit higher education can and should assume on the question of the human relation to the natural environment.
