The Religious Studies Department offers students the opportunity to study religion using a variety of methodologies and provides a cross-cultural, inter-disciplinary, and comparative investigation into a variety of religious beliefs and practices.

The Religious Studies Department is located on the third floor of Kenna Hall.

The Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries offers master's degrees in Catechetics, Pastoral Liturgy, Catholic Education, Spirituality, and Liturgical Music.  The Graduate Program in Pastoral Ministries has an online application.

The Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University, located in Berkeley at the Graduate Theological Union, works closely with the Department of Religious Studies in the coordination of academic programs, and maintains an office in Kenna Hall.
