CPT Alberto Frias

CPT Frias was born in Augustacpt frias final, GA to an Army family. After spending a few years at SHAPE, Belgium, his father settled in Texas, ultimately landing at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX. CPT Frias attended the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2005. He commissioned into the US Army Reserve as a Military Intelligence officer through Officer Candidate (OCS) in 2007. In 2009, he served as a Detachment S2 for 1st MSC DET 1 out of Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. 1st MSC DET 1 then deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was attached to 1CD and 1AD. During his time in Iraq, CPT Frias served as a Targeting officer in the G2 ACE. After returning from OIF, he served on active duty as company executive officer for 401st MI Co, 470th MI BDE in Fort Sam Houston, TX. He then served as a plans and training officer for two interrogation battalions, 201st MI BN, and 338th MI BN, 470th MI BDE. CPT Frias then obtained entry into the Active Guard Reserve (AGR) program where his first assignment is to the Bronco Bn. He and his wife Sarah, look forward to enjoying what all the Bay Area has to offer.
