Captain Greg Hastings- Assistant MSIII Instructor

CPT Hastings_LCPT Greg Hastings was born and raised in Auburn, Ohio.  He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and was commissioned as an Infantry Officer in 2006.  He has served in a variety of leadership and staff positions both in the United States and overseas. After completing training at Fort Benning, Georgia, he was assigned to the 82d Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. CPT Hastings immediately deployed to Afghanistan and took charge of an Airborne Rifle Platoon assigned to the NATO ISAF Theater Tactical Force. In July 2008, he was assigned to B Company, 2d Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington where he served as a Ranger Rifle Platoon Leader and deployed twice as a member of a Joint Special Operations Task Force in support of the Global War on Terrorism. In June 2010, he was assigned to Headquarters Company and served as the Assistant Battalion S-1, deploying once again as a Task Force Liaison Officer. In September 2011, CPT Hastings joined the Stanford University Graduate School of Business MBA Class of 2013 and began service as an adjunct faculty member with Santa Clara's ROTC program.
