The de Saisset Museum

The de Saisset Museum at Santa Clara University is the South Bay area’s free museum of art and history. The de Saisset Museum, which is one of three museums in the South Bay to hold accreditation from the American Association of Museums, presents between six and twelve temporary exhibitions every year. Exhibitions at the de Saisset highlight the diversity of our community, showcase the work of recognized and under-recognized artists, address the issues of contemporary society, and emphasize the strengths of our permanent collection. The museum also serves as caretaker of the University’s California History Collection, which is on permanent view. The de Saisset also offers a variety of free educational programs, including lectures, workshops, and family days.

The museum is open for public viewing Tuesday - Sunday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. during regularly-scheduled exhibitions. For more information, please call 408-554-4528 or visit www.scu.edu/desaisset
