*Senior Project: The Senior Project provides Theatre and Dance majors with the opportunity to demonstrate their progress in meeting the learning objectives established by the department. In this capstone course, students will prepare and present a final project in any area of their choosing (e.g. acting, design, directing, playwriting, history, literature, dance choreography, performance art, etc.) The Senior Project, demonstrating both effective leadership and collaboration, must include each of the following elements: public presentation, reflection on process (through journaling, etc.) and assessment of progress in addressing department learning goals and culminating oral presentation.

MUSICAL THEATRE MINOR
Interested in Musical Theatre? The College of Arts and Sciences offers an interdisciplinary minor for Musical Theatre.

For your convenience, we've included the Academic Requirements for the Minor on this page as well, although the Department of Theatre and Dance is not directly involved in the minor.

Two tracks are available in the Musical Theatre Minor: American Musical Theatre or Lyric Theatre. Courses below are the same for both except those designated with * (for AMT) or with ** (for Lyric). Classes italicized are taught every other year.
