Bob Steiner
Bob Steiner joined the Theatre and Dance Department staff in 1978 after graduating from San Francisco State University's Theatre Department with a B.A. in technical theatre. In his role as theatre technician he works with students teaching them productions skills in the areas of lighting, scenery construction, and sound. He also maintains all of the theatrical equipment for the Mayer Theatre and the Music & Dance buildings.
As a member of I.A.T.S.E. local 134 (the stagehands union), he can be seen occasionally backstage at Shoreline Ampitheatre, the HP Pavilion and the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts working setups for plays and concerts.
