The continued growth and success of our students and programs are made possible by the generous support of community members and alumni. Donations not only provide students with scholarship money, but also permit enhanced learning opportunities such as training and collaborating with professionals and the purchasing needed equipment. General Theatre Donations

Donations are used to facilitate the growth and needs of theatre programs and productions. They help bring in guest artists such as Cindy and Mauricio Salgado for the ASTEP (Artists Striving Against Poverty) Program; guest speakers such as Leslie Reinhardt, Equity Stage Manager; and individuals who conduct Master Classes and workshops such as Composer James Robert Brown. General Dance Donations


Donations are used to facilitate the growth and needs of dance programs and productions. They help bring in guest choreographers such as Tandy Beal and The Joe Goode Performance Group for productions and workshops. They also help provide valuable tools such as Pilates equipment. Founders Scholarship Fund

In honor of the Theatre and Dance Department founders, Al Gibson and Bill James, this scholarship is awarded to an outstanding student majoring in theatre and dance. Please make checks payable to: Friends of Mayer Theatre.

Scott Robertson Memorial Scholarship Fund

In honor of Technical Director Scott Robertson, this scholarship is awarded each year to a Technical/Design student. Please make checks payable to: Friends of Mayer Theatre.

Peforming Arts Advisory Board Fund 

This fund provides needed equipment and extended learning opportunities for the students and programs of the Department of Theatre and Dance and the Department of Music. Please make checks payable to: SCU Performing Arts Advisory Board.
