The Resource Room is a collaborative project sponsored by the Office for Multicultural Learning -- Office of the Provost, the Ethnic Studies Program, and the Women's & Gender Studies Program. Providing resources on a number of different topics and themes, including gender, race/ethnicity, sexual identity, age, disability, and socio-economic class, the Resource Room functions as a place for personal, professional, and academic research. Additionally, the room is a welcoming space for studying, events, meetings, and intellectual engagement. In order to enhance the missions of the sponsoring departments, the purpose of the Resource Room is to enrich the educational experience by providing specialized resources, services, and support. The Resource Room provides a safe and welcoming space for the Santa Clara community in an atmosphere of constant respect and open-mindedness.
