Club Registration Deadline Dates: - Returning Club Registration Deadline: Wednesday, May 28th by 5:00pm
- Fall New Club Registration Deadline: Wednesday, October 1, 2008 by 5pm
- Winter New Registration Deadline - Wednesday, January 14, 2009 by 5:00pm
- Spring New Registration Deadline - Wednesday, April 8, 2009 by 5:00pm
*Senate has decided to register clubs in the spring for the following year. Re-registering in the spring will give each club a better chance at requesting discretionary funding next year, particularly in the fall quarter. *Failure to re-register a club by the May 28th deadline could result in significantly reduced discretionary funding being granted to your club. MISSED THE QUARTERLY REGISTRATION DEADLINES!?
New clubs can still file an Intent to Register and receive limited access to club privileges for the current quarter. Then complete the registration process to become fully registered for the next quarter. Santa Clara University has delegated the responsibility of registering student Clubs to the Associated Students of Santa Clara University (ASSCU). The Student Affairs Committee (SAC) of the ASSCU Student Senate registers Clubs, keeps records (e.g. constitution/bylaws, membership rosters, and contact information), and allocates student activity fees.
Santa Clara University hosts nearly 80 registered student organizations (RSOs), or clubs for short, each year. Supported by Associated Students of Santa Clara University (ASSCU) in conjunction with the Center for Student Leadership, these organizations are as small as 15 and focus on a wide array of student interests.
