    Magis/World Youth Day

    Campus Ministry plans to send a delegation of SCU students to next year’s Magis/World Youth Day in Poland--two related events that draw together Catholic youth from around the world.     Graduate Student Sunday Socials
    Sunday October 25, 7:15 p.m. Meet in front of the Mission Church.

    Seeing The Word

    A Biblical Faith Sharing Group

    Join us as we use the Seeing The Word program to ignite our spiritual imaginations by praying with The Saint John’s Bible, and by using a meditative practice of using visual images to reflect upon Scripture.     Misa en Español

    Thursday, November 5, 2015, 8 p.m., Mission Church

    All are welcomed to celebrate Mass with our Spanish speaking community - regardless of Spanish speaking proficiency! In the tradition of Día de los Muertos, we invite you to bring photos or mementos of loved ones who have died so that we may honor their memory.     Faith Formation Conference

    Saturday, November 7, 2015, Santa Clara Convention Center

    Join more than 2,500 attendees at the Santa Clara Convention Center on November 6-7 for the annual Faith Formation Conference sponsored by several area dioceses, and workshops are offered in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. SCU is helping coordinate the liturgy and music on Saturday morning - if you are interested, please contact John Michael Reyes.

    Common Ground

    Monthly Sunday worship

    We are starting a monthly Protestant worship service at SCU! We are looking for students interested in being worship leaders, musicians, readers, and even preachers! This is a new initiative to create monthly worship that is FOR students and BY students on campus. If you are interested in being part of this new initiative on campus, please contact Rev. Laura Brekke.


    Animate Small Faith Sharing Group

    Looking for an engaging Christian small group that isn’t afraid to ask hard questions? Want to be part of a creative Christian community? Then you are welcome to join the Animate Faith small group! Email Kaitlin Boone for more information.


    RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)

    Wednesdays, 7 p.m.-8 p.m., Campus Ministry Small Conference Room

    Interested in learning more about how to become Catholic? Want to explore your faith more? Baptized, but haven’t received the First Communion and the Sacrament of Confirmation? Come join us for a time of reflection and discernment!

    Sacrament of Reconciliation

    Mondays, 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and Sundays, 8-8:45 p.m., Mission Church

    These scheduled opportunities for individual confession with a priest are available when classes are in session. The reconciliation room is located on the right side of the Mission Church, next to the organ.


    Mindfulness Meditation

    Wednesdays, 5:15-6:10 p.m., Multifaith Sanctuary, St. Joseph’s Hall

    Take a moment from your busy schedule to be present to the moment and work to alleviate suffering. All are welcome. Come when you can; leave when you must.


    The Pope is back!
    We are pleased to announce that the life-size cut-out of Pope Francis has been safely returned to Campus Ministry. We think his smile is even a little brighter now!
