    Searching for an Evolutionary Spirituality and New Mysticism in a Global World: A Dialogue with Teilhard de Chardin

    Second in a three part lecture series by Dr. Ursula King (University of Bristol, UK) on the topic of Celebrating Teilhard de Chardin, Pioneer in the Dialogue between Religion and Science.

    Ecumenical Bible Study

    Zen Mindfulness Meditation
    Wednesdays during weeks 1-10, 5:15-6:10 p.m., Multifaith Sanctuary, St. Joseph Hall
    Take a moment to meditate with others and learn about Zen sitting meditation. No experience is required. Come as you can; leave when you must.


    Sacrament of Confirmation

    8 SCU students have begun their preparation for the sacrament of confirmation. The SCU community is an important part of the preparation process for these students. Please contact John Michael Reyes or Ali Martinez for more information on ways you can actively help in the preparation process. Please hold the candidates in your prayers over this next month. We will celebrate the rite of confirmation on Sunday, May 17 at the 6pm Liturgy.

    Have you gone for confession lately? Have you ever experienced God’s mercy and healing through the Sacrament of Reconciliation? It’s never too late. Come and experience God’s mercy and healing.

    Washington to Washington Program Application

    The Washington to Washington program is an experience that allows you to work for justice with a small group of SCU students in a local community. An integral part of the program is the Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice in Washington, DC (November 7-9), the largest annual gathering of young adults from Jesuit institutions.     Spring Search Retreat
    May 8-10, 2015, Mission Springs Retreat Center
    Search is an energetic weekend of reflecting, sharing and experiencing God's love in community. Though the retreat is grounded in Ignatian spirituality, individuals of all faith traditions are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Registration is open now and is filling up quickly.     Weekend Silent Retreat

    May 29-31 St. Francis Retreat Center, San Juan Bautista

    Registration for the Weekend Silent Retreat is now open. Enjoy this three-day weekend retreat based on the Daily Examen prayer, as established by St. Ignatius. Components of the retreat include confidential, individual meetings with a retreat director, group conference talks on the movements of the Examen, liturgy, and group prayer.
