  A brief look at a theology of liberation focused on the cross.
  

• One Christian Family: April 1

  A meal focused on our unity as a Christian family.  Participants will be invited to reflect on their experience of Church.
  

• Women and men with and for others: April 8

  An opportunity for those who have been on immersion trips, had a Donovan fellowship, or served through SCCAP to reflect on their experiences with others.
  

• A holy meal: April 15

  We will reflect on the role of food in bringing us together with others, especially family.

• Understanding What We Buy

  An exploration of Fair Trade facilitated by students who participated in the 2008 United Students for Fair Trade convergence.  How does learning about Fair Trade help us to look more deeply at our buying practices?

• There's No Place Like Home

  Sr. Marilyn Lacey will lead us in a discussion about refugees in the San Francisco Bay Area and invite us to think about what it means to have and create a home.  How do we welcome the stranger among us?

• The Beatitudes

  We will be led in a reflection about the text of Matthew 5:1-12 and its implications for our Lenten journey and beyond.  How am I seeing the world with new eyes?

• Street Children in India

  Molly Geisler, a Donovan Fellow who traveled to India during the summer of 2008, will share reflections about her experiences working with women and children at the Children Resolution and Women Learning Society.  What would you be willing to do for opportunity?
