    The 16th annual Guadalupe Celebration at SCU celebration tells the story of the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe to San Juan Diego. The presentation is in Spanish, with English narration. Admission is free and open to the public; seating in the Mission Church is limited, so arrive early!

  •  Ignatian Retreat: Sign Up Now

    Monday, Nov. 26, 2012

    From Sunday evening (12/9) to Friday (12/14) around noon, retreatants will enter into a contemplative silence. In addition to the culture of silence and extended periods of private reflection, each day also includes presentations on the spiritual exercises, a liturgy, communal gatherings for prayer, and a conversation with a spiritual director.

    This week we pray in a special way for those affected by Hurricane Sandy, especially our students who have families and homes along the Atlantic, as well as our fellow East coast Jesuit universities. The collection at the 6 and 9 pm liturgies will benefit Catholic Charites USA, which is responding to the needs of affected communities.

  •  RIP Fr. William Donnelly, SJ

    The university is mourning the loss of Fr. Bill Donnelly, SJ. Campus Ministry and CAPS staff are available for anyone who would like support. Services will take place on Monday, November 5 in the Mission Church. The viewing will be from 3 to 6 p.m., with a vigil service beginning at 5:30 p.m. to conclude the calling hours. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 7:30 p.m. There will be a reception immediately following.
