Day 7: Campus Recreation's Hoofprint Challenge

"You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today." -Abraham Lincoln

Campus Recreation's "Hoofprint Challenge: Broncos Going Climate Neutral" is a project to offset the last year's carbon emissions from club sports competitive travel (263 tons). The Hoofprint Challenge has four categories of participation: energy, waste, water and miscellaneous.

TODAY: Participate in the Hoofprint Challenge by calculating your carbon footprint.
Step 1: Calculate your Hoofprint.
Step 2: Reflect on your results with a friend (see below for reflection prompts).
Step 3: Complete the Hoofprint Challenge miscellaneous form to document your participation!

What surprised you about your hoofprint? Did your friend share the same surprise? Did your friend complete their hoofprint? Was their hoofprint greater or less than yours? Could your hoofprint be less?

How does today's quote impact your hoofprint ("You cannot escape the responsibility of tomorrow by evading it today."-Abraham Lincoln)?
