Day 28: Wish yourself the best today


"May I be happy.
May I be well.
May I be safe.
May I be peaceful and at ease."


Lovingkindness meditation is a form of meditation that has helped develop a more loving and accepting attitude towards many people in life. Learn a little about this form of meditation by going to Sparkpeople and searching for "lovingkindness." While you're there, explore other ways that you can "wish yourself the best" every day through exercise, food, and meditation. Listen to this Guided Loving Kindness (Metta) Meditation.


As you look at Sparkpeople, what feelings do you have toward yourself? Toward others? After being on Sparkpeople, are you able to extend lovingkindness to yourself? If it feels selfish to wish yourself the best today, why do you think that is?
