Day 31: Troubled Waters

READ:

"When the well's dry, we know the worth of water." - Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

The Eye of the Drain

ACT:

Time your shower today. Look at your shower head to determine flow rate (on campus shower heads are 2 gallons/minute). Calculate gallons of water used each time you shower. Calculate gallons you could save in one month if you cut 2 minutes off your shower time each day.

Feeling bold? Try a Navy Shower.

REFLECT:

What would it take to change your shower habits?
Do you think a change of this sort would negatively impact you?
What are the barriers to conserving water in our daily lives?
What are the benefits?
