Multicultural Learning Office

The Office for Multicultural Learning staff and student scholars help lead the multicultural initiatives on campus in collaboration with key departments on campus including the Center for Student Leadership, Department of Art and Art History, Drahmann Advising and Learning Resources Center, Ethnic Studies Program, Office of Housing and Residence Life, Unity Residential Learning Community, Undergraduate Admissions, and the Vice Provost Office.

Mary brings to SCU a wealth of experience in diversity education, student leadership development/training, and program management/development. She completed a MA in Higher Education Administration from New York University with an emphasis in Multicultural Affairs. Mary also graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BA in Political Science.

Pauline comes to SCU after having worked in Canada and Hawaii in different administrative and office managerial positions. She completed her BSc in Biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.  Pauline currently holds a dual appointment as Office Manager for both the Office for Multicultural Learning and the Ethnic Studies Program.  In addition to her administrative support responsibilities, Pauline enjoys serving as the Advisor for the Vietnamese Student Association on campus since 2000.

RASHMI NARASAGOUDAR

Rashmi is currently a graduate student in the MA in Higher Education Administration program at Santa Clara University. She has a diverse background in the area of student services including admissions, financial aid, disability services, international student services, programming and advising. Most recently she was a member of the founding team of a graduate MBA program and helped to establish the student services department. Rashmi completed her BA in Human Development at the University of California, Davis.
