Set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District during the late 1940’s, Seven Guitars recounts the story of blues guitarist Floyd "Schoolboy" Barton and his demise, as seen through the eyes of his six friends returning from his funeral. Told as a series of flashbacks, this poignant play examines both the destructive nature of racial oppression and the fluctuating dynamics between men and women. Tickets: $18-$24, subscribers $13, students $5.
