Love, lust, and laughter abound in this delightful comic opera that created quite a stir at its 18th century premiere!  Join the SCU voice students in recounting a single day in the palace of the two-timing Count Almaviva and see why The Marriage of Figaro is one of Mozart’s most beloved works.  Enjoy a special holiday preview, Dec. 6th & 7th at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, where, under the direction of Nancy Wait Kromm, students will perform scenes from The Marriage of Figaro as part of a double bill with the premiere of River of Women, directed by Emily Ray. Bring Your Own Salsa!

The Center of Performing Arts presents its second annual salsa extravaganza featuring an evening of outdoor dancing and music with San Francisco Salsa favorite Mazacote. Free admission; no tickets required. *Located adjacent to the Mayer Theatre and O’Connor Hall. In the event of rainy weather, the concert will move to the Recital Hall.

Festival of Lights Fundraising Dinner & Concert

Our Festival of Lights fundraiser returns! The night begins at the historic Adobe Lodge with appetizers and wine, followed by a three-course meal. Then stroll to the nearby Mission Church for a holiday concert performed by the SCU Concert Choir and Chamber Singers.  Tickets are $75 and include concert tickets.
